Maxion Group is committed to conducting business in a fair, ethical, and responsible manner. This policy outlines our zero-tolerance stance towards modern slavery and human trafficking, and the steps we take to prevent such practices within our operations and throughout our supply chains.
Modern slavery is a broad term that covers a range of severe exploitative practices and violations of fundamental human rights. It can take many forms, including human trafficking, slavery, servitude, forced labour, forced or servile marriage, exploitation of children, and deceptive recruitment for labour or services.

Background
Maxion Group fully supports the protection of human rights and is committed to meeting our obligations under the MSA. Our approach is guided by internationally recognised principles, including the United Nations (UN) Global Compact, the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, and the International Labour Organisation (ILO) Core Conventions.
Through these frameworks, Maxion Group strives to ensure that our business practices and supply chain relationships reflect respect for human rights and contribute to eliminating modern slavery in all its forms.
Definition
Modern slavery includes slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, child labour, and human trafficking, situations where individuals are exploited and unable to refuse or leave due to coercion, threats, or abuse of power.

Due Diligence
Maxion Group will:
- Assess risk within operations and supply chains.
- Engage with suppliers to review labour practices.
- Require contractual compliance with modern slavery laws.
Training
Mandatory training for all relevant parties including but not limited to employees, suppliers, and subcontractors:
- Recognize and report signs of modern slavery.
- Understand responsibilities under this policy.
Reporting
Concerns may be raised confidentially through whistleblowing channels. All reports will be investigated, and appropriate action taken.
Monitoring
Maxion Group will review and update this policy regularly and monitor compliance across operations and supply chains.
Non-Compliance
Breaches by employees may result in disciplinary action, up to dismissal. Breaches by suppliers or contractors may result in contract termination and may also result in referral to law enforcement authorities.
Review and Updates
This policy will be periodically reviewed and updated to reflect changes in technology, legal requirements, and business practices. Employees will be notified of any changes.
